Netizens poke fun at Tiffany’s love handles

While Taecyeon and Yoona's performance as a make-believe couple has been widely searched online, netizens have also taken an interest in another SNSD member.

On MBC Gayo Daejun, 2PM and SNSD paired up for a special stage that still remains a hot topic today.

Although overshadowed by the two main characters of the skit, Wooyoung and Tiffany briefly danced together and displayed notable chemistry as well. Of course netizens couldn't just sit back and enjoy the show; instead, they found immense delight in discovering the photos that were captured of them.

Sporting a white top that exposed her mid-drift and a pair of form-fitting jeans, the SNSD member unveiled a much curvier look onstage.


Of the countless comments that Tiffany and her new bod have been receiving as of late, they were mostly comprised of rebuke:

"The same girl with 'honey thighs' has a belly fat."
"[In the 4th picture], Wooyoung must have seen Tiffany's fat and froze in place with that expression of his."
"Wooyoung's thighs are as big as Tiffany's!"
"Tiffany's New Year resolution: lose weight."

It's not the first time Tiffany has garnered attention for her weight before. Only several months ago, fans were worried about her drastic weight loss that was most evident in the thinning of her initially round face. Now, netizens are bashing on her for her fuller figure, proving that you really can't please everyone but only yourself.

Under the hawk-like monitoring of netizens where nothing gets past them, celebrities must always be cautious of their appearance. In particular, all weight gain is met with morbid interest from netizens, especially when the celeb is known as an idol. Unfortunately, most are targetted at girls who are generally susceptible to criticism.

Hopefully, Tiffany will follow the footsteps of Wonder Girls' Yubin (as she has experienced a similar predicament in the past) and remain strong, not succumbing to crash diets, excessive work-outs, etc. To my knowledge, SNSD already has a pretty strict diet.

2PM wants to work with…

Fangirls, prepare yourselves because each 2PM member picked himself a lovely lady that he would like to work with.

On the 1st January edition of MBC Section TV, each 2PM member was interviewed and asked which actress / celebrity he would want to shoot a CF with.

The answers were pretty interesting.

Junho picked busty teenager Shin Se Kyung, Wooyoung, Lee Na Young, Junsu, Kim Min Jung, Chansung, Lee Chae Young and Taecyeon, of course, Ha Ji Won. Thai Prince Nichkhun surprised everyone, including his fellow members, by picking the interviewer Saerom.

2PM finished the interview by wishing everyone a Happy New Year.

Will “Tired of Waiting” be another homerun for 2PM?

As you all may have noticed, 2PM is now officially promoting their follow up track "Tired of Waiting."

The beastly idols made a huge dent in 2009 with "Again & Again" and then "Heartbeat" from their first album. Both songs were huge hits, but will "Tired of Waiting" be another homerun?

JYP Entertainment stated:

"Promotions for 'Tired of Waiting' began on the 1st of January. They will be wrapping up their first album promotions with this song, so the performances will be special. However, since this is their follow up track, we don't plan to promote the song for too long."

2PM first performed the new track on the 29th at the SBS Gayo Daejun, however they officially announced that they would promote the track via KBS Music Bank on January 1st, 2010.

2PM is still “Tired of Waiting” on Music Core

The boys of 2PM definitely hit a rough patch last year in 2009 but they're definitely kicking things off with a bang as they perform another track off the '1:59PM' album.

2PM has been promoting Heartbeat for quite awhile now as they grabbed wins here and there, but a new year means a new song right? The boys entertain and please fans as they perform Tired of Waiting, which was initially the first song released before the full album hit.

Junsu thanks Hottests and gives a shout-out to Jaebeom

After winning Song of the Year at KBS Gayo Daejun for the chart-topping song Again and Again, Junsu expressed his afterthoughts in his minihompy diary and even mentioned Jaebeom, the ex-leader of 2PM.

He wrote:

"It's like a dream..
Although I'm already happy just being able to pursue music, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has helped me receive such a big happiness as this one.

Whenever I stand on stage, the united voice of fans makes my heart beat faster..
hottest.. I love you!!
I hope 2010 will be a happy year for all of you
and 2PM will become even hotter as well.

Jaebeom, we won this award together!!"

Hottests are touched that Junsu mentioned Jaebeom again as he has not once forgotten to share the awards that 2PM has received this year with their leader. Ever since the Myspace controversy erupted, Jaebeom resigned from his position in the 7-member group and remained in his hometown Seattle. He did not attended any of the year-end award shows, but the remaining six members of 2PM always reminded us of his presence, whether during a live performance or an acceptance speech.

Junsu was genuinely at a loss for words while delivering the acceptance speech on behalf of 2PM.

Younha sends 2PM some chocolate

Younha sends 2PM some chocolate... Well, not exactly... but she did sing Again and Again on Kim Jeong Eun's Chocolate.

For the January 2nd broadcast of KJE's Chocolate, the rock and roller / ballad / jazz piano singer Younha went on and sang "Again and Again" and "Broke Up Today."

For "Again and Again", she gave her own little spin on it. Turning the track into a jazzy R&B style song, Younha added her strong vocals and some pretty nice dance moves to give a great performance. Thanks to kpopboys for the tip.

2PM is “Tired of Waiting” for you on Inkigayo

As you all know, 2PM recently announced that they would officially begin their promotions with their follow-up track Tired of Waiting. When Tired of Waiting was first revealed through the group's "heartbeat" teaser website, it was a hit as it was ranked quite high amongst charts in various music portal sites.

After beginning their promotions of Tired of Waiting on Music Bank and Music Core, 2PM performed their follow-up track on Inkigayo! Will Tired of Waiting be another hit? We'll have to see!
