Who created 2PM’s zombie concept?

2PM's zombie concept has garnered the interest of many fans, and people have been wondering how the group's new look came about. Turns out the brains behind the much discussed concept is none other than 27-year-old Lee Woo Kyung, winner of Project Runway Korea announced back in April. After winning the competition, she was offered a contract by JYP Entertainment to become the company's official style director.



"Lee Woo Kyung worked with producer JYP to come up with the concept and completed what is now known as the zombie style. Many people gave her positive feedback on her work," a JYPE associate stated.

Lee received quite a few job offers after her Project Runway win but ended up choosing to work with JYPE, unveiling the zombie style as her debut work for the company. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, better known as FIT, Lee worked as a freelance designer before competing on the show. Check out some of her other designs below:
