Who did Idol Girl Group Members Choose as the #1 Male Idol?

Ever since Taecyeon of 1:59PM 2PM started to rip off his shirt (like the beast he is) for Heartbeat performances, his chocolate abs have caught the attention of many girls, including those of idol girl group members!

On a recent recording of Star Golden Bell, various idol girl group members chose Taecyeon as the #1 male idol in all of Korea. This episode, which will air on December 12th, features 4minute’s HyunA, Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung, Secret’s Jeon Hyo Seong, SeeYa’s Boram and Soomi and After School’s Joo Yeon. The majority of these idol ladies agreed that beastly Taecyeon should be the #1 male idol star. However, HyunA disagreed, choosing BEAST’s Lee Ki Kwang over 2PM’s heartthrob.

In addition, when Kang Min Kyung was asked which male idol star made her heart flutter when she saw him, her answer (which of course was Taecyeon), sparked HyunA to ask, “Unni, do you like abs?” In response to this, Joo Yeon stated, “HyunA's too young to understand. But I also think he looks really cool when he rips off his shirt!”

Oh HyunA. Dear, naïve HyunA. How can you not choose Taecyeon?!

2PM romps to 3rd consecutive K-Chart win

Having notched two consecutive K-Chart wins on Music Bank, could 2PM win it for the third week in a row?

The competitors for this week's K-Chart along with 2PM were Baek Ji Young for Don't Forget (OST IRIS) and After School with Because of You. Baek Ji Young was not performing on the night.

And it was the 2PM boys who got their 3rd consecutive K-Chart win with a total of 9,781pts compared to 8,529pts and 6,054pts for Baek Ji Young and After School respectively. And unlike previous weeks, KBS showed their encore stage this time.

2PM’s Charismatic Performance at the GDA!

After winning a Disk Bon Sang Award, 2PM put on an extremely charismatic performance of "Heartbeat."

Filled with emotions, the 2PM boys put on what is in my opinion their best performance to date. Apparently they practiced all night long just for this performance and it showed. The performance ended with a new, never before seen 6 member death and then transitioned into a performance of Again & Again.

This was the most charismatic and memorable performance of the night by far. Congrats to 2PM for the award and amazing performance!

2PM next up on Star The Secret (Updated)

MBC has a hit show in Star: The Secret. It's a documentary show that basically covers the story of the star(s), from childhood up until today.

Next up on the show is 2PM, more specifically Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Junsu. It'll document their childhood and also reveal never before seen photos of the guys. Kang Dong Won and 2PM come together for…?

2PM's new song Tired of Waiting is featured in the trailer for Kang Dong Won's new movie Jeon Woo Chi which was released on the 8th, and the video has already gotten 37,000 views in Korea! This is Kang Dong Won's "comeback" into the movie scene and it seems like he's starting with a bang.

The movie will hit theaters on the 23rd. Isn't this a little too much eye candy for us girls? Too bad 2PM's not in the movie.

Nichkhun appeared in Wonder Girl’s Irony MV?

Once again, leave it to the netizens to discover minute details of their favorite celebrities’ pasts. A self-proclaimed fan of the Wonder Girls recently went to the Internet to share his latest discovery with the world, that Nichkhun of 2PM appeared in Wonder Girls’ “Irony” music video, which was released in early 2007.

In the club scene, Nichkhun plays the roll of the two-timer’s friend and can been seen making various facial expressions as he watches the events unfold.
Concerning this latest discovery, comments from netizens have ranged from “Wow, I had no idea," to “Whatever he does, Nichkhun always shines!”

As the 2009 nears its end, the kpop scene is still as motivated as ever to give us listeners hot kpop to warm ourselves up with. Whether you're gonna be spending the next couple of weeks studying or partying, bass pumping music is something we all turn to for a good time. Taecyeon knows 4 languages

Taecyeon, who defines beast in 2PM, is known to be a beast in academics as well. He joined the chess club, the jazz band, and even sports teams.

But did you know that he is fluent in four languages?

On December 10th, MBC's Star: The Secret will have an episode on the pasts of all 7 members.

Taecyeon, who immigrated to America when he was in elementary school was able to speak English, Korean, Spanish, and Chinese fluently. The show also revealed that when he was accepted at the JYP Global Auditions, he did not train to be a singer, but more on the actor/model side.

What a talented guy. No wonder girls like him. He's smart, ripped and good-looking.

JYP rates WG, 2PM and 2AM

Park Jin Young has been stealing the spotlight from others in the month of December with his comeback. He recorded an episode of Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate today and shared some information about his artistes. One of his artistes, 2PM, was also present at this Christmas special episode recording.

Kim Jung Eun asked what kind of a teacher he is to 2PM and Wonder Girls and he said:

"They treat me however they want. Wonder Girls hit me a lot. I had to talk to Taecyeon once so I called him over and then I forgot what I was gonna say. He just got up and said, 'Tell me when you remember' and left! They're always like that. When I get serious, then they listen. But in reality, they are not very nice."

Is it just me or does anyone else find this JYP bond a bit cute?

Park Jin Young also went on to rate his stars:

"Wonder Girls are about 8 points out of 10. Their flaws have improved. It's been 3 years since they've debuted and their live stages, dancing, and singing has improved. They're not as good as Rain or Kim Tae Woo but they've grown a lot. For 2PM and 2AM, 7 points. It hasn't been long since they've debuted. They have so much more to accomplish. They don't do as well on stage than they do during rehearsals."

2PM and 2AM join JYP’s Bad Party!

Park Jin Young's national tour just got a lot hotter! What's a JYP concert without the entire family?

The concert tour is titled, "Bad Party - Heartless, No more love..." and 2PM, 2AM, and Joo will opening for him. The tour starts in Incheon on the 19th and will make stops at different Korean cities.

This is his third "Bad Party" tour and his past ones have sold out completely. JYP has a reputation for putting on unforgettable shows that really blow the fans away. Now add 2PM and 2AM to that!

Whoever gets tickets to this sure is lucky.

2PM participates in Salvation Army charity event

2PM participated in the Salvation Army Charity Event hosted by Paris Baguette earlier today at the Shinsegae Department in the Myeongdong Jung-gu section of Seoul. At the event, the boys were dubbed the Ambassadors of Love, encouraging people to donate money to the needy and Salvation Army.

The boys arrived a few minutes late to the event and apologized for their tardiness. Three days before the event, they selected 50 females and one male to take polaroid photos with the 2PM members and also share some of the cake. 2PM takes the Inkigayo Mutizen

2PM takes the Mutizen once again on Inkigayo. These boys must have had a big celebration since their boss JYP was there as well.

2PM performed Heartbeat as usual and the only disappointing part is that I still haven't fallen in love with the song. Or their costumes. Or their pigtails. Don't kill me Hottests, I like the dance.

Despite my opinion, they're flying high in the music scene at the moment. They performed extra hard this time probably because they knew their boss was watching close by... that ought to scare them.
