2PM visit 2AM on the set of their MV

During the making of the music video for their upcoming track, 2AM partook in an interview by Section TV to discuss topics ranging from Dirty Eyed Girls‘ parody that was recently deemed as a gay Chinese porn and Jo Kwon’s make-believe marriage with Ga-In on MBC’s popular variety show ‘We Got Married.’ The members also chose a female celebrity whom they would have liked to be cast in their music video.

Furthermore, the quartet received a surprise when their 2 o’clock counterparts appeared while 2AM was filming to show their support. 2PM’s presence definitely livened the atmosphere and probably gave 2AM a bit of a boost in their confidence. Despite the stark contrast of image, concept and music between the two groups, the boys demonstrated their close relationship with one another on set.

2PM also recently delivered a video message to help promote awareness for 2AM’s comeback. Doesn’t the JYP family love just tug at your heartstrings?

Fans grateful to SBS for leaving Jaebeom’s spot open

2PM fans are expressing their gratitude to the producers of this weeks SBS Inkigayo, where 2PM held their goodbye stage.

On January 17th, 2PM finished up promotions for their 1st album and performed two tracks, “Tired of Waiting (기다리다 지친다)” and “Heartbeat.” During the intro, prior to their final performances, SBS put the image displayed above and left a blank white spot for leader Jaebeom.

In addition to SBS leaving a space for Jaebeom, the 2PM members themselves left a space in the middle for their leader as well. Fans were really able to feel the love for Jaebeom as they chanted loudly, ‘We’ll be waiting Park Jaebeom. We’ll be waiting 2PM.”

After the show, fans expressed their gratitude:

“Inkigayo thank you so much. Only Inkigayo! PD we love you. We were extremely impressed (heart warming). We won’t forget how you took care of us, thank you.”

It was a great way for 2PM to close out their promotions. I have a feeling there’s going to be quite a big surprise for fans when they return.

2PM is Tired of their Heartbeat on Inkigayo

As all things come to an end, so must 2PM’s promotions of Heartbeat.

On the January 17th broadcast of SBS Inkigayo, 2PM put on a great final performance of their title track Heartbeat as well as Tired of Waiting.

With Inkigayo as the last music show, it’s official: 2PM is done pumping their heartbeat as 1:59 PM, so to speak… for fans this hopefully means it’s time once again for 2:00 PM.

2PM to concentrate on solo activities

With Heartbeat promotions finally wrapped up this evening, it has been announced that 2PM will be taking a break as a group so individual members can pursue individual activities for a while.

JYP Entertainment expressed on January 17 that 2PM’s last activities for now would take place that day on Inkigayo. “The members are going to take time to rest and work in various solo activities,” a rep said.

It has been confirmed that Taecyeon and Wooyoung will continue as MCs on SBS Inkigayo and Taecyeon will begin filming for his role on Family Outing Season 2 at the end of this month. Furthermore, Nichkhun will begin filming for The Shining Diploma next month. Junsu, Junho and Chansung will also have various solo activities of their own during this break period of sorts.

I guess it was kind of expected, but that means no promotions for the collaboration track Tik Tok with Ke$ha Yoon Eun Hye for Cass Beer.

For those of you that are already missing the 2PM boys, worry not – the boys are set to return this April with a new album. Stay tuned to allkpop for more on 2PM!

2PM’s goodbye performance on Music Core

We can certainly call them one of the most successful artists of the past year. 2PM made the heartbeats of fans faster with their beast personality on stage. From 10 Points out of 10 to Tired of Waiting, the group excelled on all fields.

I’d say fan’s want 2PM to end their activities sooner, as their next comeback might just be more surprising (return of a certain someone…?). As you wait for that day to come, you can watch this second goodbye performance on Music Core!

On January 15th, the 2010 Asia Model Awards were held at the Seoul Olympic Hall. Stars from many fields entered the hall to a festive night.

The awards goes over many categories from endorsements, fashion, music to acting. Some of the winners include:

2PM says goodbye to Music Bank!

Boy group 2PM has definitely been gaining attention again for their latest single, but now they’re saying goodbye with Tired of Waiting and Heartbeat on KBS Music Bank!

2PM is definitely 2009’s biggest success story even though they hit quite a rough patch towards the end. The 17th will mark the end of their promotion until their April album comeback, but for now just enjoy watching the boys perform!
