Taecyeon and Yoona are secretly dating?

2PM's Taecyeon will perform with his "secret" girlfriend at the 2009 MBC Gayo Daejun. And guess who, that secret girlfriend is none other than Yoona of SNSD.

Fan girls, don't go crazy just yet. It's just a performance, or at least that's what we think.

The two will put on a special performance with a deep storyline.

Let me lay it down for you. Taecyeon and Yoona have been dating secretly, they get in a fight over a small misunderstanding and Yoona starts to dodge Taecyeon's calls.

SNSD tries to cheer Yoona up so they escape their dorm to have some fun, but during their night out, they run into 2PM. And of course, they make up after the members help them out and they all live happily ever after.

The two groups have been practicing hard, with sleepless nights for this performance and even though I'm really excited to see this performance, I'm kind of jealous. I mean think about all the time SNSD is getting to spend with these boys!

Because of last year's amazing performance with the Wonder Girls and Big Bang, people are really looking forward to this one. Hopefully, it will surpass Wonderbang.

Also on MBC Gayo Daejun, Park Jin Young and 2PM will have a dance battle. Do you guys remember Rain and JYP's battle last year? I'm sure this one will be even hotter!

Taecyeon denies his scandal with Yoona

Most people are excited about Taecyeon and Yoona's special stage at the 2009 MBC Gayo Daejun, but it looks like some people are taking it the performance storyline too literally.

As you may know, Taecyeon and Yoona are a couple in the performance. They get in a fight and in the end make up with the help of their members. Though people are excited for this 2PM-SNSD performance, others have spread rumors about Taecyeon and Yoona, saying that they're actually dating.

On the 29th, Taecyeon wrote on his minihompy, "It's just business, really. kkk Please reference the Ok Taecyeon episode of [Mnet] Scandal," reminding fans of the make-believe couple show that made many Hottests agonize earlier this year. It's great that Taecyeon clarified that this would just be a special stage like the one Wonder Girls and Big Bang had last year.

Netizens have commented, "Good luck with your business," "Ah, so cute," and "I'll judge after I see it."

I trust that it's just business and something MBC is doing to gain more viewers but who knows, it might turn into something more.

[SBS Gayo Daejun] 2PM Rock their Special Stage

The men of 2PM rocked their special stage with a banging new remix of Again and Again in some hot red and black military outfits. Following that, they performed Tired of Waiting because they definitely knew we were getting tired of waiting for them to perform this song.

The special stage then took a turn to rock a more gloomy and dark note.

We follow a shady lady walking along a dark and abandoned building, spotting the members of 2PM lifeless in various locations. All of a sudden, the boys wake up and begin walking around in their famous zombie-like state. Then WHAM! We got our boys up on stage performing their latest hit Heartbeat!

They performed with much more feeling and emotion than we have ever seen them perform ever before. Yes, it's indeed possible. The boys finished it off with an impressive dance break, with Khun being lifted into the air like a sacrificial lamb of sorts.

Nichkhun and Lee Bo Young in love?

Lee Bo Young and Nichkhun will be featured in a scene from a romance movie during tomorrow's '2009 MBC Gayo Daejun'.

Lee Bo Young will be the female MC alongside Kim Gura and Shin Jung Hwan, but is planning on surprising everyone by transforming into a singer for the special occasion!

With Nichkhun of 2PM, she will be singing 'Way Back Into Love' from the movie, 'Music and Lyrics'.

Lee Bo Young already proved her singing ability in the movie 'Once Upon a Time', where she transformed into a jazz singer, so this performance with Nichkhun is making everyone excited!

As for you, 2PM fans, this is for you! Nichkhun will be revealing his hidden piano playing skills!

Nichkhun showed a mellow side this time on MBC Gayo Daejun with actress Lee Bo Young. Usually, he's popping and sliding on stage doing some sick dance moves but here, he sat down and played the piano.

He's known among his fans for being a pro at playing the piano so he must have been excited for this stage since he never gets the chance to play his instrument on stage.

Lee Bo Young on the other hand proved, once again, that her voice is worth a singing career. She sang beautifully as she harmonized with 2PM's pianist.

In this make-believe courtship, Taecyeon & Yoona, who are secretly dating, get into an argument that the latter can't seem to easily forgive him for. However, SNSD & 2PM members concoct a plan to help the duo get back together for a happy ending.

[MBC Gayo Daejun] JYP vs. 2PM Dance Battle

Usually, the master's the one schooling the students, but occasionally we're given the scenario where the students can school the teacher. Last year, JYP and his former protege Rain rocked the MBC stage with a classic dance battle. Two kpop juggernauts put on their dancing shoes and left the audience roaring for more from each one. With the large amount of screams and praise from the crowd, it's hard to decide who won!

This year, JYP and his 2PM boys took a different approach to the dance battle theme. We start off with a skit of the 2PM boys running frantically and jumping off a cliff. Unfortunately, they didn't learn much in swimmer's ed and they drowned to their untimely deaths.

However, they resurrected themselves just in time to perform Heartbeat!

JYP took the stage along with the boys on the Matrix themed stage and performed yet another remix of Again and Again.

As soon as we thought it was over, the master took the stage to school his students, 2PM in an epic dance battle. The two forces came together and performed Again and Again towards the end. So who won this epic battle? Did the master put the students in their place, or did the students finally surpass the master? You decide.

Merely minutes after their performance on MBC Gayo Daejun, 2PM member Taecyeon and SNSD member Yoona hit the number 2 spot on Nate's most searched list together.

The performance was more than enough to get fangirls swooning and fanboys up in arms, so it's not a big surprise that radical netizens would rack up a huge hit count in such a small amount of time.

Other notable searches in the top 5 are Boom and After School's ex-member Soyoung, who are rumored to be dating, taking spots 3 and 5 respectively.

2PM is “Tired of Waiting” on Music Bank

Group 2PM has definitely had a rocky year in 2009 what with their strong summer comeback being crushed by the Jaebeom scandal; only to make another big comeback with their first full album titled '1:59PM'. Needless to say it has been a terrible last half of the year for the boys and the rest of the k-pop scene, but the boys performance on Music Bank seems to emit only optimism of the greatness to come in the new year.

We've all been "tired of waiting" for the year of 2009 to end and what better way to start it off than with a butt-kicking performance from the boys of 2PM?

Younha wants to perform with 2PM and Dynamic Duo

During the filming of KJE Chocolate, pop rocker Younha, revealed who she would like to collaborate with.

Younha performed a special duet with Jang Hye Jin and afterwords sat down for a quick talk. When Jang Hye Jin was asked who she would like to feature with, she replied by saying that the boys of 2PM would be her top choice. Younha was asked with the same question and agreed that 2PM would be a good choice, but that she would also like to rock it out with Korea's experienced rappers, the Dynamic Duo.

Younha also revealed that before performances, everyone else is hanging out with their group members, but because she's a solo act; it tends to get quite lonely for her.

Currently, Younha is promoting her song We Broke Up Today, but due to an unfortunate case of passing out and being admitted to the hospital, her live appearances are on hold.

This episode of KJE Chocolate is scheduled to air on January 2nd.

Netizens poke fun at Tiffany’s love handles

While Taecyeon and Yoona's performance as a make-believe couple has been widely searched online, netizens have also taken an interest in another SNSD member.

On MBC Gayo Daejun, 2PM and SNSD paired up for a special stage that still remains a hot topic today.

Although overshadowed by the two main characters of the skit, Wooyoung and Tiffany briefly danced together and displayed notable chemistry as well. Of course netizens couldn't just sit back and enjoy the show; instead, they found immense delight in discovering the photos that were captured of them.

Sporting a white top that exposed her mid-drift and a pair of form-fitting jeans, the SNSD member unveiled a much curvier look onstage.


Of the countless comments that Tiffany and her new bod have been receiving as of late, they were mostly comprised of rebuke:

Under the hawk-like monitoring of netizens where nothing gets past them, celebrities must always be cautious of their appearance. In particular, all weight gain is met with morbid interest from netizens, especially when the celeb is known as an idol. Hopefully, Tiffany will follow the footsteps of Wonder Girls' Yubin (as she has experienced a similar predicament in the past) and remain strong, not succumbing to crash diets, excessive work-outs, etc. To my knowledge, SNSD already has a pretty strict diet.

2PM wants to work with…

Fangirls, prepare yourselves because each 2PM member picked himself a lovely lady that he would like to work with.

On the 1st January edition of MBC Section TV, each 2PM member was interviewed and asked which actress / celebrity he would want to shoot a CF with.

The answers were pretty interesting.

Junho picked busty teenager Shin Se Kyung, Wooyoung, Lee Na Young, Junsu, Kim Min Jung, Chansung, Lee Chae Young and Taecyeon, of course, Ha Ji Won. Thai Prince Nichkhun surprised everyone, including his fellow members, by picking the interviewer Saerom.

Will “Tired of Waiting” be another homerun for 2PM?

As you all may have noticed, 2PM is now officially promoting their follow up track "Tired of Waiting."

The beastly idols made a huge dent in 2009 with "Again & Again" and then "Heartbeat" from their first album. Both songs were huge hits, but will "Tired of Waiting" be another homerun?

JYP Entertainment stated:

"Promotions for 'Tired of Waiting' began on the 1st of January. They will be wrapping up their first album promotions with this song, so the performances will be special. However, since this is their follow up track, we don't plan to promote the song for too long."

2PM first performed the new track on the 29th at the SBS Gayo Daejun, however they officially announced that they would promote the track via KBS Music Bank on January 1st, 2010.

The boys of 2PM definitely hit a rough patch last year in 2009 but they're definitely kicking things off with a bang as they perform another track off the '1:59PM' album.

2PM has been promoting Heartbeat for quite awhile now as they grabbed wins here and there, but a new year means a new song right? The boys entertain and please fans as they perform Tired of Waiting, which was initially the first song released before the full album hit.

Junsu thanks Hottests and gives a shout-out to Jaebeom

After winning Song of the Year at KBS Gayo Daejun for the chart-topping song Again and Again, Junsu expressed his afterthoughts in his minihompy diary and even mentioned Jaebeom, the ex-leader of 2PM.

He wrote:

"It's like a dream..
Although I'm already happy just being able to pursue music, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who has helped me receive such a big happiness as this one.

Whenever I stand on stage, the united voice of fans makes my heart beat faster..
hottest.. I love you!!
I hope 2010 will be a happy year for all of you
and 2PM will become even hotter as well.

Jaebeom, we won this award together!!"

Hottests are touched that Junsu mentioned Jaebeom again as he has not once forgotten to share the awards that 2PM has received this year with their leader. Ever since the Myspace controversy erupted, Jaebeom resigned from his position in the 7-member group and remained in his hometown Seattle. He did not attended any of the year-end award shows, but the remaining six members of 2PM always reminded us of his presence, whether during a live performance or an acceptance speech.

Junsu was genuinely at a loss for words while delivering the acceptance speech on behalf of 2PM.

Younha sends 2PM some chocolate

Younha sends 2PM some chocolate... Well, not exactly... but she did sing Again and Again on Kim Jeong Eun's Chocolate.

For the January 2nd broadcast of KJE's Chocolate, the rock and roller / ballad / jazz piano singer Younha went on and sang "Again and Again" and "Broke Up Today."

For "Again and Again", she gave her own little spin on it. Turning the track into a jazzy R&B style song, Younha added her strong vocals and some pretty nice dance moves to give a great performance. Thanks to kpopboys for the tip.

As you all know, 2PM recently announced that they would officially begin their promotions with their follow-up track Tired of Waiting. When Tired of Waiting was first revealed through the group's "heartbeat" teaser website, it was a hit as it was ranked quite high amongst charts in various music portal sites.

After beginning their promotions of Tired of Waiting on Music Bank and Music Core, 2PM performed their follow-up track on Inkigayo! Will Tired of Waiting be another hit? We'll have to see!
