Girls 4 Group Fever with 2PM’s Taecyeon on Christmas

Kara's Seung Yeon, Brown Eyed Girls' Ga In, 4minute's Hyuna and After School's UEE have joined forces just for Music Bank's Hot Girl Group Fever special!

They performed a dance break as well as Baek Ji Young's My Ear's Candy with 2PM's Taecyeon. The girls are performing together as the project group 4Tomorrow for the very first time, but they already look like they could be a real group. Thank you Music Bank for bringing hot girls (and Taecyeon) together this Christmas!

2PM’s Heartbeat Again and Again on Christmas Day

This year was definitely 2PM's year because their rise to dominance in 2009 was undeniable. It all started with Again and Again and it's now ending with Heartbeat. So I guess it's only fitting that they ended the year with a special performance of both songs.





Watching the two performances side by side like this make you really appreciate just how much 2PM has grown this year. They also added a special Silent Night performance just for Christmas.

Wooyoung has a bloody…

This Christmas, 2PM made a special appearance at a club in Kangnam, Seoul. Right when the word spread, fans came from all over the place and the club became more packed than a fat man's food closet. When the fans started pouring in, they got close to the actual members. Infact, they got so close, fans were able to touch Wooyoung's face and arm. Wooyoung got a serious scratch due to the fan's nails. As you can see in the picture above, there is blood on his face and you can see the blood through his white shirt as well.

One netizen uploaded a video of this incident on a Korean portal site, and you could see his injuries clearly. Through this, fans saw that there was blood on his finger as well, worrying them.

2PM Coca Cola CF fancam

A short fancam of 2PM has been released on Youtube, showing the boys shooting in front of a green screen for the Coca Cola Company.

It looks like the boys are ready to dish out some serious fanservice, I mean, just look at how tight Taecyeon's pants are! Hopefully we won't have anymore "bulge" incidents.

The song for the CF can be heard in the background and it sounds good. All that's left to do is wait for the whole thing to come out.

Who wore it better: Lee Byung Hun or Wooyoung?

While netizens were doing their usual snooping (nothing gets past them, does it?), they managed to catch actor Lee Byung Hun and male idol Wooyoung wearing the same brown argyle cardigan on different occasions.

Lee Byung Hun, who plays the main character in the highly popular KBS drama 'IRIS,' has received plenty of praise for his choice in attire. In the picture above, he boasts his trademark smile that can easily kill more women than all the casualties in 'IRIS' combined. Compared to the K-pop idol with the baby face, Lee Byung Hun exudes a more mature feeling when sporting the same outerwear.

On the other hand, Woo Young appeared wearing the brown ensemble as the regular MC on SBS Inkigayo. Completing his outfit with the addition of a red bow tie, the 2PM member deeply impressed viewers with his adorable image.

2PM to hold their first ever concert?

Korean portal site Interpark recently updated their website with information stating that 2PM will be holding their first ever concert. The concert is titled 2PM Daegu Concert and will be held in Daegu on January 30th, 2010. The boys are going to perform all of their hit songs such as 10 out of 10, Only You, Again & Again, and I Hate You.

Kim, taewoo, K-will, Jonghyun(Shiney) AND Junsu (2pm) Male Project Group will have a special stage on the K-pop programs

SBS announced that, Kim, taewoo, K-will, Junsu and Jonghyun would have a special stage together on the SBS K-POP Awards, on 29th. Dec. Last year, Seung-ri(big bang), Tae-min(Shiney), Shindong(super junior) and Cho, kwon(2am) had a specail stage, titled "wonder-boys" and performed the girl-group's songs and dances, such as "kissing you" and "Nobody". They made a great hit.

SBS said, "It will be a great stage since the 4 members can play in perfect harmony. As you know, Kim tae woo and K-will are the best singers with outstanding singing abilities, and Junsu(2PM) and Jonghyun (Shiney) will show another attraction of vocal line. "

Besides the special stage of these singers, there will be the showdown between Beast and Mblaq. the tribute special stage for Michael Jackson(of the members of 2PM, Lee-seoungki, Superjunior, Beast, Mblaq), the Joint stage of G-dragon and Tae-yang.

And Heechul(Superjunior) Park, shinhye and Jung, younghwa(heroin and hero in the drama "You are a handsome guy", SBS) will serve as the master of ceremonies for SBS K-POP Awards.

2PM will perform a new song at SBS Gayo Daejun

For those of you who have been listening to 2PM's new album non-stop, there is good news awaiting. Though Heartbeat has been successful, 2PM will perform a new track off their newest album for the 2009 Gayo Daejun. This will be their first time performing this song since they only sang one song, Heartbeat, for their comeback performances.

Here's the bad news: We don't know which one. You'll have to wait and see!

But we got more good news for not just 2PM fans. 2PM's Junsu, Kim Tae Woo, K.Will, and SHINee's Jonghyun will get together to perform a stage harmonized by their amazing voices.

Though this isn't 2PM related, the Big Bang brothers Taeyang and G-Dragon will have their solo stages. MBLAQ and BEAST will have a rival stage. And there's just so much more so just wait.

2PM endorsing Cass Beer?

On December 20th, fan cam footage was uploaded of 2PM's Taecyeon and Nichkhun taking photos for Cass Beer. In the fan cam footage, you can see the duo clearly hold a glass of beer and doing various poses. No word yet on if the other boys of 2PM will be participating in endorsing the beer.

Beastly idols 2PM are angelic idols

On the 22nd, popular male group 2PM gathered at Coex Megabox in Seoul and engaged in various activities with 300 multicultural children, such as making Christmas cakes and holding a fan signing session.

Despite the cold weather, 2PM never lost their bright expressions throughout the event, which was sponsored by Paris Baguette. The fact that the 6 members were able to dedicate their time to community service, even with their already busy schedule, earned them the title as "Community Service Idols."

This hasn't been the first time 2PM worked alongside Paris Baguette to assist the less fortunate. On the 7th, the male idols and the Korean bakery also contributed to the Salvation Army in helping sick children

2PM’s Taecyeon shuts down his minihompy in rage

2PM's Ok Taecyeon shut down his Cyworld minihompy in rage, after private photos that only his first level friends could view were leaked.

Taecyeon shut down access to his minihompy leaving the following message:

I wonder how these private photos were leaked."

Access to his public photos, diary and pretty much the entire minihompy has been disabled.

Fans of Taecyeon have been leaving messages of support:

"Who on earth would do such a thing... it's an invasion of privacy."

"Please don't be angry."

Following this recent action and despite his minihompy being closed down, as of late, there has already been 12,000 visitors to his minihompy.

On December 21st, a small group of fans of fallen 2PM leader Jaebeom gathered at the JYP Center in Korea and posted posters of him in support of his return.

The fans prepared more than 4000 posters to put up in the Parking Garage of the JYP Center, however they only managed to put up around 300 posters. A very nice gesture that I'm sure Jay himself would appreciate.

2PM’s Heartbeats for Jaebeom

Jaebeom is physically gone but he is emotionally still by 2PM's side. 2PM members decided to split up the income from their first album with Jaebeom.

One insider said, "In November, 2PM members talked things over with JYP Entertainment before their album release. They all agreed to split up the money earned with Jaebeom. They said that Jaebeom is their leader forever and made the decision."

2PM is not like other groups. Though Jaebeom is not with them to promote their first official album, they still decided to do this for their leader. Because 2PM is staying away from most interviews and all variety shows, this is a way for them to speak out towards Jaebeom publicly.

It's not clear how much money will go to Jaebeom, however, after their promotions end, they will calculate everything at JYP Entertainment and decide the final amount.

Another insider said, "They want to share this moment with Jaebeom. There's no other purpose. It's not about the amount of money, so please just look at their kindness."

This is an extremely generous act, which is pretty rare in the music industry. With the six members calling out for their leader so loudly, hopefully Jaebeom will be returning soon.

2PM and Park Jin Young on Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate

Park Jin Young (JYP) along with his protege's 2PM got together on December 9th to film for SBS Kim Jung Eun’s Chocolate. On December 19th the show finally aired.

2PM performed My Heart, Heartbeat, Again & Again, I Hate You, Last Christmas, and Only You. They also shared their christmas wishes which you can read about here.

The December 19th edition of MBC Music Core had various message greetings from 2PM, BEAST & MBLAQ, Yuri and Tiffany of SNSD / Girls' Generation, and SHINee saying that they love you / everyone. A good message to give in this Holiday Season.

SNSD gives stamp of approval to Ok nyeo shi dae

On the recent Entertainment Relay, SNSD members expressed their approval of Ok nyeo shi dae.

"Pretty. Too pretty. We must hang it on our wall at home. It looks like a family portrait."

Yoona, who has the most similar face shape as Taecyeon, laughed and said, "it's funny." Seohyun, who people have been saying looks the most like Taecyeon, kept laughing while saying "No No."

Well, it looks like Ok Taecyeon has SNSD's seal of approval - looks like we got ourselves a 10th member.

JYP wanted Again&Again for himself

On the December 19th episode of Entertainment Relay, producer and singer JYP revealed some interesting facts regarding 2PM and their tracks. Being a singer himself, giving up songs to his artists can at times be bittersweet.

JYP stated that as a singer, his thoughts drive him crazy:

"I always think about things like, if I were on stage, I would've done things differently. It makes me crazy. Really."

In addition, JYP stated:

"Heartbeat was written strictly for 2PM. However, Again&Again, I really liked that song so much. It's a song that I wanted to perform."

He finally concluded the interview by saying:

"I'm sure of what I want to do with the rest of my life. I will remain on the stage and in the recording studio. As opposed to being the best producer, I want to remain as the best singer."

Although 2PM fans may beg to differ, it has got to be extremely difficult and bittersweet to give up your creations and watch them take off. Even if it's for your own artists.

Would JYP have been a better fit for Again&Again? After all it was his creation...

When the others(of 2pm) were depressed, he tried to do his best to cheer up them and make a good program. And when the others were happy and did well, he stepped back and support them to do their best. We, the producers, can see it.

Recently, "Revolt of the Idol youngest" is on air, on SBS E!TV. In this program, the Idol youngest went trough hard training to becoming the top of the group and be cast by many variety programs.

Actually, the youngest in idol group is usually not received attention, so this program will make sense. Media and reporters used to focus a spotlight to the leader, so leader is usually received attention. And more, if there is another member noticed, he or she is not usually the youngest. As the number of members increased, it is a very important fact that to get a notice among the group is the key to survive as entertainers.

Then, not surprisingly, there is a member who seeks to become the top even though he or she is the youngest. Fans called the youngest like this as "the ambitious ***".

2PM’s Chansung, Junho, and Nichkhun on Star The Secret

Last week, 2PM's Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Junsu were featured on the documentary show Star The Secret. This week's episode featured the rest of 2PM or rather 01:59PM Chansung, Junho, and Nichkhun.

Like all the previous episodes of the documentary show, it chronicles their childhood and what they did before they became stars. This weeks episode reveals Chansung's childhood and his excellence in the Japanese sword-fighting martial art of Kendo. Because of his superior skill, he was said to be very popular with the ladies in the class. As for Nichkhun, the show chronicles his time in Thailand and California.

It also shows Junho when he was nicknamed Little Bi / Rain. Since he looked very similar to Rain, he did a lot of Rain's performances in school on stage and the girls would go crazy. They would even go up to him asking for his autograph, he was a pimp even as a youngster. It also talks about his acting and participation in drama clubs during high school.

2PM’s Christmas Wishes

It's the time of the year when everyone's happy and joyful. It's Christmas time!

2PM has had a rough time this year and they have told the public about their very own Christmas wishes. We can finally see the group doing something other than performing their song Heartbeat as they were featured on an episode of Kim Jung Eun's Chocolate, which happens to be the Christmas Special episode. Even if we don't get to see them on variety programs, this can be just as good as fans can finally see the boys being their dorky selves.

Chansung wanted to go "solo", Junho said he wanted to be with fans on stage for Christmas, and Junsu wanted everyone to be healthy. Taecyeon seriously stated, "Sharing a room with Junsu is inconvenient. Widen our room please." Nichkhun wanted everyone to become rich and finally, Wooyoung wanted JYP to give him a Christmas present.

The MC Kim Jung Eun expressed her Christmas wish as well. She wanted to do the part where Chansung slowly pushes Taecyeon aside at the beginning of Heartbeat. On the spot, her wish was granted as Taecyeon pulled off a funny performance with her.



I'm sure in the inside, their real wish is to have leader Jaebeom back and that Jaebeom's wish is to rejoin the group as well.

2PM wins K-Chart for the 4th time

Having notched a hat trick of K-Chart wins on Music Bank already, could 2PM win it for the fourth week in a row?

The competitors were the same as last week, with 2PM meeting old foes, Baek Ji Young for Don't Forget (OST IRIS) and After School with Because of You. 2PM and Baek Ji Young was not performing on the night.

And so it was the 2PM boys who won it again, for the 4th time in a row despite being absent. Congratulations to them.

Jaebeom’s 100th Day since leaving Korea

Can you believe that it has already been 100 days since Jaebeom left 2PM?! Although it’s not a moment to commemorate, it’s definitely a time to reflect upon, especially for Hottests.

Yesterday, December 16th, marked the 100th day that 2PM’s leader Jaebeom left Korea for his home back in Seattle, Washington. For the rest of the members, this day was marked by winning the Top 10 Award at the Melon Music Awards. And once again, the boys Taecyeon didn’t forget to mention Jaebeom in their acceptance speech.

Even though 100 days may seem pretty short compared to the life we have ahead of us, for many devoted Hottests this could have been the longest wait in their lives. So did anything change during this 100 day wait? As a matter of fact, yes! While Hottests around the globe continue to boycott JYPE, many netizens have had a change of heart.

According to Star News, the same people who told Jaebeom to leave Korea earlier this year in August are now saying that they hope for Jay’s return to 2PM. Many of these anti’s netizens have already seen his b-boy videos floating around Youtube and instead of leaving hate comments, they have replied, “I miss the 2PM with Jaebeom,” and “I wish Jaebeom will return.”

Now that 100 days have already passed, how much longer will we have to wait for 2PM’s Leadja to return? Will it be another 100 days? We sure hope not but until that day comes let’s keep supporting Jaebeom!

2PM transforms from Beasts to Angels

Beastly idols 2PM, transformed into angels on December 16th for an event setup by Paris Baguette to help children with incurable diseases.

The event was called "Children's Hope," where the members of 2PM spent time with the children and brought them Christmas cakes, hats and Christmas carol cd's all sponsored by Paris Baguette.

A Paris Baguette rep stated:

"For the New Years holiday, we wanted to help, so we started the Love fundraising campaign and we were able to help children with diseases. We received lots of love from customers, so in order to give back to society at the end of this year, we plan to be active in various social contributions."

2PM’s performance at the 2009 Melon Music Awards!

Dang, these boys just get better and better.

At the first annual Melon Music Awards, 2PM had a quick intro with the other songs from the album such as "Tired of Waiting" and "Give me the light."

Then, the fire started with the intro of "My Heart" with Taecyeon which then went into "Heartbeat" and "Again and Again". Although bad mics plagued the performance (poor Taecyeon not being to rap his only part), the boys put on a good performance. There was also a bit of a surprise at the end with a HOT dance break.

2PM was also on the Top 10 of 2009 list and gave a quick but short thank you to Jaebeom.

Listen to JYP and Wonder Girls Heartbeat

Back in October, JYP started work on 2PM's comeback by producing some tracks in the studio. Recently he uploaded a video of himself and the Wonder Girls having some fun while he was working.

In the video you can see JYP in the background working on Heartbeat by singing the track out loud. While he does this, the Wonder Girls, more specifically Yubin starts dancing, lip syncing, and making movements to his singing.

It's pretty funny and it's good seeing the girls have some fun at his expense.

2PM Nichkhun’s brother to make a debut?

It looks like Nichkhun better watch out - his mighty throne of the Thailand Prince just might be taken away soon... by his own brother.

Horvejkul Nichkhun Nichan has made an appearance in a recent music video of Thailand's rookie female singer, Ploy. After seeing the 40-second teaser that was recently released, netizens have been abuzz nonstop toward Nichan's insanely good looks briefly shown on screen. Jaebeom wins first place at B-boy competition

Another video of Jaebeom dancing at a B-boy competition recently surfaced. The ex-leader of 2PM was seen dancing with his dance crew AOM (Art of Movement) at the Winter Nights competition in Seattle. Well, Nate News is reporting that Jaebeom and his dance crew actually won the event.

In the finals, Jaebeom and AOM faced off against R.M/S.R.C (Rhythmic Motions) (Soul Rebelz). Jaebeom and AOM came out of the battle victorious. Congratulations to Jaebeom and AOM, it's good seeing him having fun and doing what he loves to do. Remember to visit the 2ONEDAY Forums.

2PM’s Chansung, Junho, and Nichkhun next up on Star The Secret

Last weeks episode of Star: The Secret featured 2PM's Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Junsu. Like all the previous episodes of the documentary show, it chronicled their childhood and what they did before they became stars. Next up on the documentary is 2PM's Chansung, Junho, and Nichkhun.

It will reveal Chansung's childhood and his excellence in the Japanese sword-fighting martial art of Kendo. Because of his superior skill, he was said to be very popular with the ladies in the class. As for Nichkhun, the show will chronicle his time in Thailand and California.

As for Junho, the show will talk about him being nicknamed Little Bi / Rain. Since he looked very similar to Rain, he did a lot of Rain's performances in school on stage and the girls would go crazy. They would even go up to him asking for his autograph, he was a pimp even as a youngster. It'll also talk about his acting and participation in drama clubs during high school.

2PM’s Nichkhun to begin filming “Shining Diploma”

Last month, it was revealed that 2PM's Thai cutie pie Nichkhun will be staring in the upcoming film "The Shining Diploma."

A representative from JYP Entertainment stated,

"Since he will star in the movie, this will give him an opportunity to showcase his hidden abilities and grow as an entertainer. Currently, he is quite busy with his promotional activities with the rest of 2PM, but since there is only one month left until shooting begins, he is also attending an acting class as well. We cannot wait to see his role as an actor!"

And we can't wait either! With the sweet Thai prince trading his good boy image for a more charismatic bad boy look, it's making the wait pretty unbearable, but I guess we're all in for a nice surprise! Nichkhun and the rest of the cast will begin filming for the movie around January 2010.

What happened to 2PM beast Taecyeon?!

Pictures of him morphed into each member of SNSD surfaced the web recently and have netizens laughing non-stop.

The crazy thing about those pictures is that when I first took a glance, I thought it was a picture of the actual members! Maybe it's the power of Photoshop, but his face fits perfectly into each member... it's kind of freaky.

I guess a girl group could've been Taecyeon's second choice to joining 2PM because it sure suits him. Though many people have pointed out that Yuri one looks the most alike, I think he looks like Taeyeon or Seohyun the most.

Netizens have titled this "Ok nyeo shi dae," switching the 'so' of So Nyeo Shi Dae (Girls' Generation) to Ok, Taecyeon's last name.

This is especially funny because Taecyeon is widely known for his charismatic image on stage. I'm sure he'd crack up at this photo too.

JYP and 2PM look up to Rainbow

We reported earlier that Rainbow was on their way to the top of the Air Monitor Weekly Broadcasting Charts.

Well, just 1 month into their debut, the Gossip Girls now have JYP and 2PM looking up to them for nabbing that #1 spot.

During the week of Dec. 7th - 13th, Rainbow came in 1st place with 'Gossip Girl' airing 58 times on the radio, JYP in 2nd with 'No Love No More' at 54 times, Baek Ji Young in 3rd with 'Don't forget' at 53 times and 2PM's 'Heartbeat' in 4th at 48 times.

After only 1 month into their debut, these girls are already on fire! Rainbow is gaining massive amounts of popularity in Korea and have been receiving a tremendous amount of love calls for CF's.

Jaebeom Seen Again in Another B-boy Video

Just recently, another video of Jaebeom b-boying has surfaced on the net. The ex-leader of 2PM can be clearly seen on the sidelines with his dance crew Art of Movement and dances at 1:35.




Uploaded on the 13th, the video shows Art of Movement having a dance battle with another crew, Stale Moves. Thanks to the high quality of the video, Hottests will instantly recognize Jaebeom in it. For those of you who still can’t spot him, he enters @0:11 and @0:33 wearing the same black beanie as the previous dance battle video few weeks back.

Fans are relieved to see Jaebeom having fun with his crew and coping well with his old lifestyle.

2PM claims Inkigayo Mutizen triple crown

With 2PM winning the Mutizen award on the past two editions of Inkigayo, will they go on to claim another or will someone come from behind to take their place?

On the 13th December episode of Inkigayo, 5 out of the seven Take 7 nominees performed - 2PM with Heartbeat, After School with Because of You, IU with Marshmallow, U-Kiss with Man Man Ha Ni and f(x) with Chu~♡. Brown Eyed Girls and K.Will were not performing.

And just like the previous weeks, it was yet another win for the 2PM boys who got their third and final Mutizen award on the 557th episode of Inkigayo. The boys had been on a roll since their delayed comeback with Heartbeat and their fans have been loving seeing them perform on stage ever since.

The "deaths" are getting better and better as well - there's even a hurricanrana, a grapple-like move with Taecyeon and Junho, at the end of the performance!





During their encore, the group performed with a twist as Taecyeon danced with a Bo Peep Bo Peep paw... guess the 2PM boys really like that song!

2PM and T-ara are promoting each other?

Recently, there have been several instances where 2PM and T-ara have promoted each other on music programs, leading to the speculation that the support for both idol groups might be... intentional?

On Music Core on Saturday, T-ara performed their comeback song Bo Peep Bo Peep as usual.

However, during Hyomin's solo dance in the middle of the performance, she imitated Taecyeon's tidbit from 2PM's Heartbeat choreography.



At the same time, the verdict of the male voice responsible for singing along to the introduction of T-ara's Bo Peep Bo Peep and, thus, disturbing the sextet's performance was identified earlier as Junsu, 2PM's very own vocalist.

T-ara's performance of Bo Peep Bo Peep on Music Core earlier today had a special male voice in the background. People were confused as to who it was and whether or not it was a mistake.

It was none other than 2PM's Junsu! And was later confirmed by Taecyeon and 2AM Seulong's posts on Junsu's mini-hompy.

Taecyeon wrote, "You singing Bo Peep Bo Peep was aired. Go apologize to T-ara right now!" Seulong wrote, "I knew it was Junsu as soon as I heard it."

Netizens commented, "His voice. Jun Peep Jun Peep," and "Junsu's featuring. So funny!"

How does 2PM’s Taecyeon rip off his shirt?

2PM fans out there might have wondered how Taecyeon rips off his shirt so well. Also, you might have wondered how many shirts he's wasted by ripping off the buttons. Now, the secret and answers are out.

On today's episode of Entertainment Relay, Taecyeon revealed, "They're not real buttons, they are those clip on buttons. When you want to rip off clothes, you need those. I don't have that good of a body so I just wanted to rip off a little bit but because they are clip on buttons, all of it came off."

Nichkhun also revealed that he got in trouble for not walking well on the catwalk when he was part of a Andre Kim fashion show. Wooyoung showed off about how he got to talk to Kim Tae Hee when they were filming the CF together.

It's been so long since I've seen them on variety shows that it's nice to see them joking around again.

Nicole’s Thoughts on Jaebeom

On a recent episode of her reality show, Nicole the Entertainer's Introduction to Veterinary Science, the Kara member offered her thoughts on the Jaebeom situation.

During one of her lectures, the topic of Jaebeom leaving 2PM due to netizen reaction was brought up.

Nicole said:

"Misunderstandings can come up between friends and on the internet. People sometimes forget how much more words can hurt than actions. As entertainers we all want to receive love. Even though I act like it doesn't matter, there have been times where I have been hurt. I still remember the negative comments I saw on the internet during my debut. I even remember the screen names. Celebrities are people too. Netizens should think about how their comments can affect them."

Producers select 2PM as Artist of the Year

Star News recently conducted a survey from December 7th to 9th with 22 different producers from the Big 3 Channels (KBS, MBC, SBS). The producers were varied from music shows to variety shows. When surveyed on who the Artist of the Year was, the winner was none other than 2PM.

One of producers noted that 2PM had put on the strongest performances on stage and also noted that they had 3 hit songs in the year (Again & Again, I Hate You, and Heartbeat). Even though they went through the controversy with the Jaebeom issue, they still came back strong winning mutizens and had strong strong popularity.

Congratulations to 2PM, I remember watching them for the first time in late 2008 performing 10 Points Out Of 10 Points. They've come a very long way in a little over a year. Thanks to mm for the tip and remember to visit the 2ONEDAY Forums.

Earlier today, the boys of 2PM attended the Calvin Klein 2010 Men's & Women's Fashion Show. The boys were personally invited and donned black suits for the event.

Who did Idol Girl Group Members Choose as the #1 Male Idol?

Ever since Taecyeon of 1:59PM 2PM started to rip off his shirt (like the beast he is) for Heartbeat performances, his chocolate abs have caught the attention of many girls, including those of idol girl group members!

On a recent recording of Star Golden Bell, various idol girl group members chose Taecyeon as the #1 male idol in all of Korea. This episode, which will air on December 12th, features 4minute’s HyunA, Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung, Secret’s Jeon Hyo Seong, SeeYa’s Boram and Soomi and After School’s Joo Yeon. The majority of these idol ladies agreed that beastly Taecyeon should be the #1 male idol star. However, HyunA disagreed, choosing BEAST’s Lee Ki Kwang over 2PM’s heartthrob.

In addition, when Kang Min Kyung was asked which male idol star made her heart flutter when she saw him, her answer (which of course was Taecyeon), sparked HyunA to ask, “Unni, do you like abs?” In response to this, Joo Yeon stated, “HyunA's too young to understand. But I also think he looks really cool when he rips off his shirt!”

Oh HyunA. Dear, naïve HyunA. How can you not choose Taecyeon?!

2PM romps to 3rd consecutive K-Chart win

Having notched two consecutive K-Chart wins on Music Bank, could 2PM win it for the third week in a row?

The competitors for this week's K-Chart along with 2PM were Baek Ji Young for Don't Forget (OST IRIS) and After School with Because of You. Baek Ji Young was not performing on the night.

And it was the 2PM boys who got their 3rd consecutive K-Chart win with a total of 9,781pts compared to 8,529pts and 6,054pts for Baek Ji Young and After School respectively. And unlike previous weeks, KBS showed their encore stage this time.

2PM’s Charismatic Performance at the GDA!

After winning a Disk Bon Sang Award, 2PM put on an extremely charismatic performance of "Heartbeat."

Filled with emotions, the 2PM boys put on what is in my opinion their best performance to date. Apparently they practiced all night long just for this performance and it showed. The performance ended with a new, never before seen 6 member death and then transitioned into a performance of Again & Again.

This was the most charismatic and memorable performance of the night by far. Congrats to 2PM for the award and amazing performance!

2PM next up on Star The Secret (Updated)

MBC has a hit show in Star: The Secret. It's a documentary show that basically covers the story of the star(s), from childhood up until today.

Next up on the show is 2PM, more specifically Taecyeon, Wooyoung and Junsu. It'll document their childhood and also reveal never before seen photos of the guys. Kang Dong Won and 2PM come together for…?

2PM's new song Tired of Waiting is featured in the trailer for Kang Dong Won's new movie Jeon Woo Chi which was released on the 8th, and the video has already gotten 37,000 views in Korea! This is Kang Dong Won's "comeback" into the movie scene and it seems like he's starting with a bang.

The movie will hit theaters on the 23rd. Isn't this a little too much eye candy for us girls? Too bad 2PM's not in the movie.

Nichkhun appeared in Wonder Girl’s Irony MV?

Once again, leave it to the netizens to discover minute details of their favorite celebrities’ pasts. A self-proclaimed fan of the Wonder Girls recently went to the Internet to share his latest discovery with the world, that Nichkhun of 2PM appeared in Wonder Girls’ “Irony” music video, which was released in early 2007.

In the club scene, Nichkhun plays the roll of the two-timer’s friend and can been seen making various facial expressions as he watches the events unfold.
